How Vocho Werks installs Louvers into your existing D'Lid
We have premade Dies that match VW OG Louvers. The process is done by hand and there is no welding.
If your lid has been painted, we can remove the paint in the area of the louvers, and you can repaint that area to match. If it is in Patina it must be original OG paint and no filler around the louver areas for us to stamp in the louvers. We cannot stamp louvers into paint as the paint and filler will crack, it must be removed to bare metal first. With the exception of Patina, where the paint as faded off, due to years of sun exposure, to nearly bare metal.
