The "W Vert Decklid." The Holy Grail of early Decklids, the rarest of Decklids. There were less than 5,000 early Verts imported in the USA. So, some 65 years later, these are very scarce to find. Yet, we can duplicate the same Louvers into any W core decklid 

Why Louvers? If you want to install a bigger VW Air Cooled engine you're going to need more "Air". The Louvers provide cooling for your custom upgraded engine. 

'64 Decklids are a unique item, they came with "midyear" changes. Some have small license plate light kits, some larger, some are 1/2 W, some are 1/4 W, but all have T handles and rear lower supports. 

The ''65 - '66 Decklids came with no T handle and a push button with no rear support. 

'67 are "One Year Only" Decklids and the entire decklid was changed up. Even the Louvers are a different size and shape.

Nao Fujita with Flat 4 purchased several '67 Verts from us and we shipped them to Japan. Nao placed them on several of their cars. Here is one of our decklids on one of their Award Winning show cars. 

Bill contacted us requesting a '58-'63 Vert Decklid, but with "W" Louvers. We built one up for him and shipped it off to his shop in New York. Bill has the very first of it's kind, utlra rare!

Rob has been metal shaping for 23 years and mentored under Steve Hogue, Ron Covell and many others in So Cal. After so many inquires for Vert D'Lids Rob developed OG Style dies and began Vocho Werks. 

At Vocho Werks we offer Bus tail light replacement sections. Each is made of 22 G steel, just as the VW OG metal. We  water jet these here in the USA. We offer sections for any Bus from '52 to '71. They also work well for VW Things. 

We purchase 1958 to 1967 Decklids. Bring us your Decklid that you want to sell to any So Cal VW show that we attend. We will look it over and if we can use it we will make you an offer.
